Graceful New Beginnings originated through a personal family experience where Grace Davis witnessed her loved ones’ children taken from them and placed in Child Protective Services due to various addictions, neglect as well as  mental and physical abuse.

 

After several years of planning and praying, Graceful New Beginnings was founded in December 2014 and opened in South Houston in November 2018. In March 2021, Grace L. Davis changed the name to Graceful New Beginnings, LLC.

Graceful New Beginnings, LLC. Corporation, mandated by the Texas Department of Protective Services, is a residential treatment facility for children.

MISSION

​

Graceful New Beginnings, LLC Corporation will provide protection, training, and guidance to young children placed in the Children's Protective System or other placement agencies.

​

Although the young children entering our system are minors, our goal is to teach them self-respect and to love themselves.

​

Through our leadership, residents will be taught self-worth and dignity in a structured, caring and supportive environment. Every child will receive professional guidance and assistance to successfully meet their individual needs and build their character and self-esteem.

OBJECTIVE​

The business goals of Graceful New Beginnings, LLC Corporation are to:

1. provide excellent and efficient transitional living as close to a family-oriented environment as possible and

2. have the children mentally stable to either return to their biological families or work very closely with caseworkers or social workers to have a normal life.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

​

Graceful New Beginnings, LLC Corporation is soon to be a non-profit organization. The center currently is set up to service children ages 11-17. The center accommodates a good structured living environment for the children.

 

Our primary focus and agenda:

• Commit to making a positive change in their lives.

• Restore their self-worth along with guidance from outside sources for any mental issues. 

• Maintain a clean and healthy environment.

We help children overcome the challenges that have caused them to be placed in centers or homes away from their biological families. The program design is to equip, encourage and enhance these young children's ability to become whole again.

​

Graceful New Beginnings, LLC Corporation's North Location is a 4-bedroom facility that will comfortably house 7 children, providing food, clothing and transportation to and from doctor's appointments and school if necessary.
